Thanksgiving Is A Holiday For The Soul

Though Thanksgiving rolls around once year; I’m thankful every day for everything I have in life and everything I’ve achieved during my time on Earth.

I appreciate the so called “little things” in life. My life is rich with good friends, a good family, and of course----all you Wise Latinas.

Thank you to all of you who do share your time and information to help another Latina somewhere in our world.

We now have more than 3,000 members at Wise Latinas Linked.   That's a lot of Latinas on Facebook and Linkedin who thanks to the internet--now have a voice and the ability to touch the lives of many others.

I’m often asked where I get my inspiration— everywhere and anywhere. For instance, Assignment America on CBS News always profiles good giving people.  This story about a chef in southern California inspired me this week.

He's been feeding homeless children week days for the past 5 years, even though his own restaurant is not doing good business.  This chef is making his mark in life.






This Thanksgiving make your mark. Reach out and lend a helping hand to someone who may need that extra boost of inspiration and hope.  Even something as simple as phone call can also nourish the soul.
